Monday, April 7th, students in grades PK-7th are taking home Pre-Enrollment packets for the 2025-2026 school year. Friday, April 11th is the deadline to return the packets to homeroom teachers.
On April 1st, the Southwest Dairy Farmers Mobile Dairy Classroom visited our campus! The 3 year-old program, PreK, Kindergarten and Elementary classes all got to meet Sherl the cow and learn about dairy farms.
44 Grand View Students students, grade Pre-K--8th, have the honor of having their artwork on display at the 2025 Cherokee County Student Art Show! Each of these students were selected by popular vote to represent our Grand View talent on the county level. Each student received a ribbon for making it into the county competition.
Out of all the students in the county show, 4 of our Grand View artists were awarded additional awards by a judging panel. Congratulations to:

Enrollment for Pre-K and new Kindergarten students who will be attending Grand View for the first time in August 2025 will be April 8th from 3:30-6:00 at the new middle school library. The middle school is located where the Early Childhood Center was in previous years. Please enter through the gate located off Burchett Road. Parents are encouraged to pick up an enrollment packet at the elementary office any time before April 8th. You will need to bring the completed packet and all the documents listed on the cover page to the elementary office.
📚 Grand View Book Fair Starts Monday! 📚
The Grand View Book Fair kicks off this Monday! Your child will have the opportunity to browse and purchase books during their regular library time. This is a great chance to encourage a love of reading and find some new favorites!

📚 Literacy Fair – Tomorrow! 📚
Join us for the Literacy Fair on Tuesday, March 25, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in the Grand View gym!
Special guest author Alex Stephenson will be there to read and share his book. Plus, everyone in attendance will receive a free book!

Summer School applications have been sent home with your student! The program runs from May 19 to June 12, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. During Memorial Day week, summer school will be held Tuesday through Friday instead.
Transportation: Buses will run before and after school at the same locations as last year.
Drop-Off & Schedule: Students can be dropped off as early as 7:00 AM for breakfast. The school day runs from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Please be sure to sign up your student by March 31.

It is Dr. Seuss week here at Grand View! We are having a blast with our themed dress-up days--even Dr. Ben is getting in on the fun with reading!
On Wednesday night our School Board recognized our student Spelling Bee winner, Amreen Dawood, and some members our Middle School Engineering Team for their wins at the Muskogee math and engineering design competition. We are so proud of our Chargers!

Cookie dough will arrive Thursday, 2/27/25, for those that sold cookie dough for the PTO fundraiser! There will be a drive through pick up available after the bus routes leave GV on Thursday. Please pick up from 3:15-5:30 near the cafeteria.
Small orders that fit in backpacks will be given to kids to take home.
There is a JOM Parent Committee meeting followed by a Title 6 meeting this Thursday, February 27th at 5:30 in the Grand View Cafeteria. All are welcome to attend!
