The library has some extra special guests! For the last few weeks our library visitors got to witness some endangered Monarch butterfly caterpillars grow, make their chrysalises and finally hatch into beautiful butterflies. What a cool experience!

On September 25th, Grand View students and staff were excited and honored by a visit from Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr., Deputy Chief Bryan Warner, and Councilor Candessa Tehee. They each spoke to our middle school students in an assembly offering encouragement and motivation.
Councilor Tehee was able to direct a donation of over $50,000 to the school to be used for playground/activity space for the middle school students at their new building which is under construction.
We greatly appreciate the involvement and support shown from the Cherokee Nation!
