Reminder that today school will end at 2:00 p.m. today. There is no after school too. Please have your child ride the bus or pick them up by 2:15. Thank you.

Grand View School has been given the opportunity for faculty and staff to receive COVID-19 vaccinations. The Oklahoma Health Department and Northeastern Health Services have assigned 2:30-3:30 Friday, February 26th for Grand View staff. To avoid class scheduling conflicts we must schedule an early release on Friday for 2:00 PM. Parent pick-up and bus drop-offs will occur 1.5 hours earlier than normal. The after-school program will also be cancelled for Friday. This allows our staff to take the next step in COVID safety. It helps us keep our school safe. We appreciate you adjusting your schedule to help make this happen. And a final reminder; Parent/Teacher Conferences are this afternoon. There will be no after-school program today.

Grand View will remain closed the remaining of the week due to inclement weather. Meal pick-up and delivery are postponed until travel is safer. Asynchronous learning will be in place for this week. Students check Google Classroom for your assignments. Lastly, please fill out the survey attached to let us know if you have viewed your child's progress report for grades 3rd though 8th grade. Due to current & future weather conditions, the Grand View campus will remain closed until Tuesday, February 16th. The distance education model will use asynchronous virtual learning on Thursday & Friday. Students check your Google Classrooms for assignments. Monday is a school holiday. Classes and meal pickup and deliveries will resume on Tuesday.

Due to existing road conditions and the forecast for more inclement weather tomorrow morning, Grand View School will implement asynchronous virtual learning for Wednesday, February 10th.

Two reminders: 1. If your child does not have adequate cold weather protection, please contact our Parent Liaison, Davada Davis. She will work with you to get clothing to keep your child safe. 2. Virtual school this Friday and no school on Monday, February 15th.

Next week reminders: 1. With Valentine's Day approaching, we remind everyone of our Covid-19 protocols. Reminders: 1. Your child's report card will be sent by mail for this past semester. 2. A notice about overdue library books will be included in the mail too. If you have books that are due please return them ASAP. 3. Food pickup is this Monday from 11 to 6. Students that are virtual can pick up school day photos during this time too.

The meal delivery list has been reset to begin the new semester. The meal delivery program will serve virtual or distance learners only beginning January 4th. If your child will remain a virtual or distance learner and you are interested in registering for the weekly meal deliveries, please visit the Grand View website or the Grand View app. Lastly school will be back in session on Tuesday, January 5th.
