This year we ramped up our monthly assemblies. These assemblies are now “Charge Ahead” assemblies. Mrs. Hatley incorporated character education, positive behavior recognition, and real-life examples of the topics we discuss. This is our first year for “Project Positivity”, which is a group of Grand View student leaders who use drama and comedy to share those positive character messages. We also had a couple of visits from our mascot Charlie the Charger. We have talked about many topics that include integrity, bully awareness, kindness, responsibility, self- control, teamwork, respect, uniqueness, courage and perseverance. Overall this year has been an amazing year of growth and understanding. We are beyond proud of our Grand View students and how when they have the choice, they choose to be kind. Congratulations to all of our students who received special recognition this year!
