Cherokee Language and Culture Class students were recently recognized by our School Board and Superintendent Dr. Larry Ben for having outstanding performances competing in the Cherokee Nation JOM Challenge Bowl this past fall. Some of these students competed for the first time and some students garnered 1st and 2nd place winnings in their divisions, but all the students had fun learning the Cherokee language and culture during after school hours with Ms. Littledeer. Upcoming competitions include: Cherokee Challenger Bowl in Owasso, Cherokee Nation JOM Language Bowl at Greasy Immersion School, and the Oklahoma Native American Youth Language Fair in Norman. Best wishes on your upcoming competitions. We're proud of you!
