Ms. Darlene Littledeer's Cherokee Language and Culture Class students recently received special recognition from the Grand View School Board members and Superintendent Dr. Ben for once again garnering wins. These students performed on April 3 at the Oklahoma Native American Youth Language Fair in Norman, OK and came home with two 1st place team trophies, a 3rd place duet trophy and a 1st place solo trophy, for outstanding performances singing traditional and non-traditional songs using the Cherokee Language. Super proud of these students. Wado!
