Dear Grand View Family,
This school year is unlike any other we have experienced and we know that many families are facing challenging times particularly as we approach winter and the holiday season. We know that the Grand View community is one of sharing and we would ask you to join us in a collection drive to support families in the area. We are also including a Resource Letter that will help you share information with family and friends who may need additional assistance. You can find a list of those resources below.
We are recognizing the week of November 15-21st as the Grand View Week of Caring and ask you to donate items in any of the following categories:
Non-perishable food Canned foods, such as salmon, tuna, chicken and turkey
Rice, oats, dry cereals, pasta, fruits, vegetables, soups, sauces, peanut butter and more
Personal Hygiene items
Bath soap, wash cloths, towels, toothpaste, tooth brushes
Laundry and dish detergent
Brooms & mops
Please have your student bring the items to school during the Grand View Week of Caring, November 15-21st and we will deliver the items to a local charity to distribute.
Please remember that Grand View School also provides counseling ad outreach services to our families. Please call the school at 918-456-5131 and ask to speak to a member of the counseling staff or the parent liaison.
