Grand View Cherokee Choir competed virtually in the Oklahoma Native American Youth Language Fair on March 10, 2021. The following results were recently announced:
Individual Modern Song Pk-2nd grade division, AriaMae Knight, "Baby Shark", 1st Place
Group Modern Song 3rd-7th grade division, "Lean On Me", 1st Place
Individual Traditional Song 3rd-7th grade division, Maggie Rhodes, "I’ll Fly Away", 2nd Place
Individual Traditional Song 3rd-7th grade division, Grace Thomas, "Orphan Child", 3rd Place
Group Traditional Song 3rd-7th grade division "Will the Circle Be Unbroken", 1st Place

Choir members include: 3rd grade: Megan Cook, Meyah Drywater, Natalie Peters, Maggie Rhodes, Grace Thomas; 5th grade: Lucas Asbill, Brock Cochran; 6th grade: Caden Murphy; 7th grade: Jonah Asbill, Ava Oxford. Also performing in the individual category was 1st grader Ariamae Knight
