Congratulations to the Grand View Cherokee Choir and Coaches Ms. Littledeer and Mrs. Sporer.

Grand View Cherokee Choir competed virtually in the Oklahoma Native American Youth Language Fair on March 10, 2021. The following results were recently announced:

Individual Modern Song Pk-2nd grade division, AriaMae Knight, "Baby Shark", 1st Place

Group Modern Song 3rd-7th grade division, "Lean On Me", 1st Place

Individual Traditional Song 3rd-7th grade division, Maggie Rhodes, "I’ll Fly Away", 2nd Place

Individual Traditional Song 3rd-7th grade division, Grace Thomas, "Orphan Child", 3rd Place

Group Traditional Song 3rd-7th grade division "Will the Circle Be Unbroken", 1st Place

We are very proud of the Grand View Cherokee Choir. Choir members include: 3rd grade: Megan Cook, Meyah Drywater, Natalie Peters, Maggie Rhodes, Grace Thomas; 5th grade: Lucas Asbill, Brock Cochran; 6th grade: Caden Murphy; 7th grade: Jonah Asbill, Ava Oxford. Also performing in the individual category was 1st grader Ariamae Knight
