Five students from Ms. Littledeer's Cherokee Language and Culture Class recently competed in the Cherokee Challenger Competition at Owasso School and took home the first place trophy. This "Knowledge Bowl of the Cherokee Student" was designed for teams to collaborate and formulate answers in categories that included the Cherokee Language as well as cultural information regarding geography, science, and the Cherokee government past and present. The students competed in 6 rounds of questions, and walked away as first place winners.
