Sarah and Johnny Johnson got into teaching because they like helping kids and making an impact in their lives. The couple has been married for four years. This year is their first teaching job. Mrs. Johnson teaches fifth grade, while Coach Johnson teaches seventh and eighth grade social studies and is a football coach. Coach Johnson grew up in Guymon, Oklahoma and Mrs. Johnson grew up in the northeastern part of the state. They met when they had neighboring apartments at South Ridge. Coach Johnson said, “I saw her passing by one day and eventually we started to talk.” Mrs. Johnson replied, "we dated for seven years before getting married and it has been great." They both came to Grand View because they liked the family atmosphere here.
