Susan Clark, first grade teacher, has been teaching for 27 ½ years, all of them at Grand View School. She has always wanted to become a teacher since she was a child. Ms. Clark loves teaching but when she was a child she had second thoughts, but teaching always won out. What subject do you like to teach? Ms. Clark replied, "I love teaching reading the most." She loves teaching all the subjects too. She then commented, “if I didn’t love it, then I wouldn't do it.”
Ms. Clark handles classroom discipline by talking to the kids and trying to figure out how they are feeling. Sometimes the child is just having a bad day. Ms. Clark tries her best to make a difference in other people's lives, and that's why she chose to teach.
