The softball teams seasons are going strong this school year. Currently the 7th-8th grade team has won 5 games and lost 3. The 5th-6th grade team is looking to improve on the rest of their opportunities .

We interviewed Kallie Doughtery in 8th grade. “Are you looking forward to upcoming softball games?” Kallie said “yes, I am.” “What is one tip for beginner softball players?” She said, “work hard.” “How old were you when you began playing softball?” Kallie said “I was 4 years old.” “How long do you want to play softball? She replied, “as long as I can.” 

We also interviewed Kayla in 5th grade. Are you looking forward to upcoming softball games? Kayla replied, “yeah definitely” “How old were you when you began playing softball?” she answered with, “I was 11 years old.” “How long do you want to play softball?”  “I would like to play up to college.” Kayla replied.


The last person we interviewed was Atlanta Siegel in 7th grade. “Are you looking forward to upcoming softball games?” “Yeah,” Atlanta answered. “What is one tip for beginner softball players?” She said, “get a good glove and bat.” How old were you when you began playing softball? she replied, “I was 10 years old.”  “How long do you want to play softball?” “I want to play up until college.” answered Atlanta.

We interviewed Michael Page, the softball coach. “Is there anything you want to tell your team for encouragement?” Coach Page said, “get out and practice everyday.” “What is something else you want to work on for your team?” He said “I would like our team to work on camaraderie.” “How old were you when you started coaching softball?” Coach Page replied, “I have been coaching softball since I was about 22.” “Lastly, how is your season so far and how do you think it will end?” He said, “It's going great, we have only lost 2 games and they were extra innings, but I think it will end great.”
