Students were assigned a particular country or culture to research in Mrs. Johnson's class. They were required to research different topics such as languages, major religions, holidays, customs, traditional clothing and food, types of currency used, economy, ancestry, and fun fact/trivia as it relates to a particular culture.
The students did an incredible job on their presentations. Some were turned in as a physical tri-fold board, and some were turned in as a slideshow on Google classroom. The students were given a wide range of creative freedom to design their boards however they wanted. Several students requested a particular culture, but most were drawn randomly. Each student discovered a whole new world of different cultures.
