Qualified applicants must hold Oklahoma Certification or be highly-qualified in their content area.
Candidates must: use a variety of age-appropriate instructional skills; have the ability to align P.A.S.S. with Common Core Curricular objectives; be able to develop outstanding parent-teacher relationships; understand data-driven instruction; and utilize effective discipline methods.
It is also mandatory that the candidate must effectively use technology for instruction, productivity and analyzing student-data.
An ideal applicant might also be trained in one or more of the following: the Common Core Curriculum model, Literacy First, bi-lingual, and/or hold additional certifications or specialty skills.
